We are proud to announce that Hacker Murphy’s John F. Harwick, Esq., a partner with the firm, has been elected to the Schenectady County Bar Association’s Board of Directors.

What Is the Schenectady County Bar Association?

Founded in 1916, the Schenectady County Bar Association (SCBA) was established to support Schenectady County’s legal community and further the public good. The SCBA, which includes 300 members, works to bring the judicial system closer to the public that it serves. The Schenectady County Bar Association accomplishes this by increasing its presence in the community and providing the following services:

  • Provides free legal services for eligible residents of Schenectady County seeking divorces
  • Sponsors moot court competitions for local middle and high school students
  • Established an attorney in the classroom program
