ATTORNEY JOHN F. HARWICK ELECTED TO THE SCHENECTADY COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Hacker Murphy partner, John F. Harwick, Esq., has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Schenectady County Bar Association.

The Schenectady County Bar Association was founded in 1916 to serve the interests of the legal community. It focuses on the public good; sponsoring a moot court competition for middle and high school students, providing free legal services to eligible Schenectady County residents seeking divorces, establishing an attorney in the classroom program, and to bringing the judicial system closer to the people it serves by increasing its presence in the community. It currently has over 300 members.

In 2012 Mr. Harwick received the highest rating of “AV” for ethics and legal ability from the peer review legal publication “Martindale Hubbell.” Since 2018, John has received the distinction of being named one of the “Top 25” lawyers in the Hudson Valley by “Super Lawyers” Magazine.

John represents business and individuals in commercial litigation disputes and also devotes a significant amount of time to helping injured individuals receive compensation for their personal injuries.
