Hacker Murphy partner, John F. Harwick, Esq., has been appointed by the Albany County Bar Association sit on the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) House of Delegates for the 2022-23 term. Mr. Harwick will serve as a Delegate from the Third Judicial Department, which covers Albany and surrounding counties. This is his second term serving as a Delegate.
The House of Delegates, together with the bar leadership, serves as the voice of the legal profession and works to support the rule of law, improve the administration of justice, and advocate for the public good.
According to the NYSBA website, “the control and administration of the NYSBA are vested in the House of Delegates, the decision and policy-making body of the Association. The House meets four times a year. Action taken by the House of Delegates on specific issues becomes official NYSBA policy.”
Mr. Harwick represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation disputes and also devotes a significant amount of time to helping injured individuals receive fair compensation for their personal injuries.
